On May 14th, 2000, Jade, Alina, and their mother Patti started a project of painting the three portable classrooms at Larrabee School. Before this project started, the portables were brown and chipping.
The students at Larrabee added their own, individual art to the murals.
The whole project was finished in the spring of 2003.
